My personal favourite...
This is my personal favourite due to the Strong contrasts between the lake in the foreground ad the trees and nature in the background. He has made the dark contrast with the light to create a natural kind of theme to this photograph and has used a reflection effect within the foreground on the lake which makes the photograph stand out to me. |

My personal favourite...
This is my personal favourite due to the Strong contrasts between light and dark which brings out the Deep areas of shadow block out sections of the image making it more abstract. He concentrates on the life of the street, capturing funny details or flashes of unexpected colour, as people move through the city. He's extremely observant and patient, noticing tiny details and waiting for the right moment to click the 'shutter'. |
Architecture Shoot one...
The bad...
I believe that this is my worst photograph in this shoot. You cannot see here but there were Christmas lights on the windows on the left hand side of the photograph. This photograph is out of focus making the photograph blurry. This would of generally been a nice photograph if it was focused and could see all the Christmas lights. I used a larger depth of feel to see down the dock to create a long effect of the photograph.

The good...
I believe that this is the best photograph in this shoot. I caught the image of plain colours with a bright red colour making the photograph stand out more. I used a large depth of feel to get the wheel in the background over the docks. I also captured the reflection of the docks in the water.
Nature shoot two..
The bad...
I believe that this is not my best photograph due to it being under exposed. However I like the colour contrast within the I mage.
the good...
I believe this is my best photograph due to the fast that it has the rocks and you can see the landscape in the distance of the houses and trees. The sky isn't that blue but the texture of the rocks in the foreground makes the photograph stand out more
Christmas Shoot three...
The bad...
The good...
I believe that this is my favourite photograph due to the angle that I took it from with the clear 'white' sky above making the Christmas tree with hearts stand out. The angle that I took it from makes the tree looks a lot taller than it is.
fair Shoot four...
The bad...
The good...
I believe that this is my best photograph in this shoot as it shows the range of different colours within the fair ground. I used a large depth of field that shows the Christmas effect ad as well as the architecture in the background.
Hustle and bustle Shoot five...
The bad...
I believe that this image is the worst in this shoot. Generally, this photograph isn't that bad. However, it doesn't really go with the theme I have for the shoot. The only thing that goes with the theme is the buses in the background. This would have looked much better if I had got it with some people walking in the foreground.
|
The good...
believe that this is the best photograph from this shoot as is shows the 'hustle and bustle of Liverpool' within it. i captured the image of people and the buildings creating a mix of themes with architecture. I used a large depth of field so that you can see the circular lights that o all the way down the path
Splash of colour Shoot six...
The bad...
The good...
I believe that this is my best photograph within the shoot due to the bright colour the baubles give off. As it is a close up photograph it is a low depth of field which makes the baubles stand out and makes them look both glittery and shiny.
the docks Shoot seven...
The bad...
The good...
I believe that this is my best image withi the shoot. #It shows bothe architecture and the docks within the image. What i like most about the photograph is, the way that the buildings cross over and contrast. It shows a merge of colours within the two different buildings.
The photographs that i will be editing...
proccess shoot one...
Finished edit...
To create this edit I used two layers, the first layer was the normal image and the second layer was a grey version of it. I rubbed out certain parts on the grey layer to let the red through and then used the burn tool to make the red brighter and the edge of the baubles darker to show where the light is hitting it.
proccesss shoot two...
Finished edit...
To create this edit, i cut out the backg4round of the grey skye and used a picture (not my own photograph of fireworks) and put it behind the tre which is in the forground to make the tree look more magical.
Process shoot three...
Finished edit...
To create this edit i used photo fix the changet the colour of the background using the temperature balance and also changing the exposure and brightness. i done the same to the fair ride in the for ground making the ride look bore red and bright rather then dull.
Process shoot four...
Finished edit...
To create this edit, it was really simple, i used a picture of the sky (not a photograph i ook) to make the grey background in the photograph i took to make the image look brighter rather thhen dull.
Photoraphy apps...
Evaluation...
I personally enjoyed this shoot as we got to go out of school to look at things that inspired us, we had different topics for different things we would take photographs of and it turned out very good. My favourite shoot was the edit for shoot one. Personally this was because I found the combinations of different buildings all together made the photograph look different and stand out.. I made the photograph stand out more by making the sky blue rather then dull and grey. Finally, I used a vary of different apps to edit my images and I enjoyed seeing what different apps had to offer.
